Donal Lunny

First worked with Donal when he came to teach at the Irish World Academy's Blas Summer School. I've subsequently worked with him and Paddy Glackin when I arranged a concert at the Culturlann Sweeney Kilkee last summer. What's to say about Donal, except that he's a pivotal figure in the history of Irish traditional music. Karan Casey

Karan Casey has long been one of the most innovative provocative and imitated voices in Irish traditional and folk music. Her career has spanned twenty five years from the early days as a jazz performer in George’s Bistro in Dublin to her heady days in New York with the band Solas to her now established solo career and she has sold over half a million albums. I did some promotional work for Karan's 2014 album 'Two More Hours'

John Carty

John Carty is one of Ireland's most -respected and sought-after musicians - fiddler and banjo-player, composer, and member of Patrick Street. He has also played in some great duos and trios, with Arty McGlynn and Matt Molloy amongs others. I've promoted tours and concerts for John, with Patrick Street & as a tutor at the Blas Summer School at UL.

Fiona Kelleher

Fiona is a singer, early years music artist, and composer for Early Years. She works regularly with very young children and considers these children to be very important collaborators in her work as a creator of music for Early Years. 2013 sees the release of ” I am a little Boat” a unique collection of songs written especially for the youngest. I worked on promotion for Fiona's beautiful first album 'My Love Lies' in 2011

Andy Irvine

Andy Irvine is one of the great Irish singers, his voice one of a handful of truly great ones that gets to the very soul of Ireland. He has been hailed as "a tradition in himself". Musician, singer, songwriter, Andy has maintained his highly individual performing skills throughout his 45 year career. Mel Mercier

Academic, performer and composer, Mel Mercier is a Senior Lecturer in Music, programme coordinator of the MA in Ethnomusicology at University College Cork. He teaches ethnomusicology, Indian classical music, West African traditional and popular musics, Javanese gamelan, and performance theory. I worked with him first as a tutor at the Blas Summer School and again when he was nominated for a Tony Award for the score he wrote for Colm Toibin's play 'The Testament of Mary on Broadway in 2013.

Colin Dunne

Colin Dunne is a leading figure in the world of traditional Irish dance, who has made the cross over into contemporary dance and theatre. Best known internationally for his performances and choreography in Riverdance and Dancing on Dangerous Ground, he has been forging a new creative path since his time as artist in residence at University of Limerick where he completed an MA in contemporary dance in 2002 where I first worked with him, promoting his tuition at the Blas Summer School.

David Munnelly

Sensational accordionist, member of great bands including Samurai, The Rambling Boys of Pleasure and several duos. A wonderful composer too. I promoted a tour for The David Munnelly Band a couple of years ago where I also got to work with David's brother Kieran, another tremendous musician, flute-player, singer and bodhran player. Two mightily talented Mayo brothers.

Cantoral, Early Music Vocal Ensemble

I organised concerts in New York and Paris for this ensemble, which was made up of students and tutors of the MA Ritual Chant and Song Programme at the Irish World Academy

Karen Tweed & Timo Alakotila

Karen Tweed was born in London, of Irish lineage and has worked with a range of Irish, English and Scandinavian musicians. I have managed album promotion for her 'May Monday' releases with the renowned Finnish composer and musician Timo Alakotila.
