MARTIN HAYES
Ellie Byrne PR handled the promotion of my latest recording “The Blue Room”. This was the debut recording on a new project. The launch and correct positioning was critical. This CD was a collaboration between The National Concert Hall Dublin, Faction Records and the University of Limerick. Ellie was the sole publicist handling and coordinating all media. This was a highly successful campaign, securing feature articles and interviews in each of the national and industry newspapers; The Irish Times, The Irish Independent, The Sunday Business Post, the Irish Examiner and Hotpress Magazine & Irish Music Magazine, along with live radio interviews and performances on prime-time national radio and television - including The Sunday with Miriam Show on RTE Radio One as well as The Late Late Show on RTE One television and the Today Show also on RTE One television. All of this culminated in the recording entering the main charts at No 8 and number 1 in the indie charts. The result of this PR campaign is that this project is now known and appreciated by the pubic and music industry people that we were trying to reach. I'd have no hesitation in recommending Ellie as a highly efficient PR manager.
DAVID POWER, PRODUCER THE TOMMY TIERNAN SHOW
"I was fortunate to meet and work with Ellie when she was production manager for Lumen i Luimneach, the complex final event of Limerick City of Culture 2014 which I was producing for TG4. She was invaluable in drawing together the many strands of the event, including technical and rehearsal scheduling for some 70 crew, RTE Concert Orchestra and performers and provided me with a vital contact in bringing the event to successful fruition.
DÓNAL LUNNY
"Never mind that she could run a small country no bother, Ellie Byrne is a pleasure to work with. I hope soon again"
DECLAN O'ROURKE
Ellie did a great job for me on the re-release of my first record last year.
I really enjoyed work with her. Great results, and easy to deal with.
SIOBHÁN LONG, IRISH TIMES JOURNALIST
“Over the years in which I have known Ellie Byrne, I have always found her commitment to, and knowledge of the artists whom she represents to be exceptional. Her passion for the traditional arts infuses her work. She is one of the most professional and effective PR executives in the country.”
CHRIS WOOD, MUSICIAN UK
"Ellie is one of the most genuine people I've ever met which I'm sure is why she has a contact list others can only dream of. She brings understanding and vision to our projects which she then goes on to realise with dilligence and unfussy effectiveness.. thing is, all this is carried off with such easy grace and humour I'm usually on the plane home before I realise what a first division professional she is."
CATHERINE SERGENT, EARLY MUSIC SINGER, PARIS
"I had to thank you personally for all the wonderful work you did for this Cantoral CD launch. So efficient! I am impressed!"
KEVIN BURKE, MUSICIAN

PRIONSIAS NÍ GHRÁINNE, COMMISSIONING EDITOR, TG4
"I have worked with Ellie in a variety of capacities since 2003 when she coordinated the inaugural staging of Gradam Ceoil TG4 (The National Traditional Music Awards) in University Concert Hall, Limerick. She subsequently worked as public relations officer for Gradam Ceoil to great success. Ellen’s keen understanding and innovative approach to the production, the administration and promotion of the arts in Ireland is rooted in her personal interest in a number of artistic disciplines. Tá méar ag Ellen ar chuisle na healaíona in Éirinn".
There's PR - and the there's Ellen Byrne. I've worked with Ellie in two capacities. When I was Director of the Blas Summer School at UL I benefited from her PR perspective, advice and activity. As radio Presenter on Blue of The Night (RTE Lyric fm) I am on the receiving end of same. I've seen it from both sides...expertise, passion and a love of life, music and people is what drives this lady. This PR machine is a force to be reckoned with.
